Final Beams For ‘Can of Worms’ Arrive In Duluth
DULUTH, MN – The final beams have arrived for the Minnesota Department of Transportation’s Twin Ports Interchange project – also known as the “Can of Worms”.
The beams will complete the key structural phase of the interchange’s reconstruction.
MnDOT says the beam setting will represent a significant step toward improved safety, mobility, and freight movement throughout the Twin Ports area.
The entire project is slated to wrap up before we get into the winter of 2025.
MnDOT is inviting the public to attend a virtual public meeting for an update on the Twin Ports Interchange Project on Monday, April 28, at 12:15 p.m.
