UW-Superior Women’s Lacrosse to Join WIAC Conference When They Begin Play in 2027

The WIAC is currently in it's fourth year sponsoring women's lacrosse.

SUPERIOR, Wis.- Back on March 5th, UW-Superior announced that they were adding women’s lacrosse as a varsity sport.

Fast forward to Friday, and they have their new conference.

UWS will join the WIAC, who’s currently in their 4th season sponsoring the varsity sport.

The Yellowjackets will be the 11th team in the conference and will begin play in 2027.
