St. Scholastica’s Schelonka & Forrest Earn MIAC Weekly Honors

Schelonka hit for the cycle in a win against UW-Superior.

DULUTH, Minn.- St. Scholastica baseball has swept the weekly MIAC conference honors.

Jake Schelonka is the Player of the Week after going 8 for 18 at the plate last week. That also included hitting for the cycle in a win against UW-Superior.

His teammate, Matt Forrest is the MIAC Pitcher of the Week. Forrest tossed a complete-game one hitter on Saturday against Hamline.

He also struck out five and did not allow a walk.

St. Scholastica is next in action on Tuesday at Macalester for a doubleheader.
