UWS Softball Earns Share of UMAC Regular Season Title with Doubleheader Split Against Bethany Lutheran

The Yellowjackets earned the second seed in the UMAC postseason tournament and will face Northwestern on Thursday, May 8th. 

SUPERIOR, Wis.- The UWS softball team hosted Bethany Lutheran in a doubleheader on Saturday, with UMAC postseason seeding on the line.

The Vikings took game one 4 to 3 over the Yellowjackets.

However, UWS bounced back in game two, defeating the Vikings 13 to 0 to earn a share of the UMAC Regular Season Title.

With the Vikings taking two of the three games in the series, they earned the top seed in the UMAC postseason tournament.

The Yellowjackets obtain the second seed in the UMAC postseason tournament and will face Northwestern on Thursday, May 8th.
