Grand Rapids Man Arrested At Work After Stabbing Incident

GRAND RAPIDS, Minn. — A Grand Rapids man was arrested at his work Sunday after investigators said he stabbed his friend in the hand.

Seth Marshall Hanna, 23, was taken into custody at the Pickled Loon Sunday morning on second-degree assault charges.

Authorities with the Itasca County Sheriff’s Office said the arrest came after responding to an address on Mishawaka Road around 2 a.m. Sunday for a report of stabbing.

The male victim, who is also 23 years old and resides at the responding address, told police Hanna stabbed him in the hand during an argument.

According to statements from other residents, Hanna refused to leave the residence when asked, and when he was being pushed out of doorway, a witness reported seeing Hanna make a slashing motion, and then fleeing the scene before police arrived.

Records indicate officers searched for Hanna’s vehicle throughout the night.  They eventually found it at the Pickled Loon Sunday morning, which is when he was arrested.
