DULUTH, Minn.- UMD freshman infielder Joey Flom has been named the NSIC Freshman of the Year.
Flom is the first Bulldog to win the award since 2013, when Alex Wojciechowski claimed the award.
This season, Flom currently has a .373 batting average. He also clubbed 10 doubles, one triple, and three lead-off home runs.
His teammates Nathan Rosenberg and Troy Lynch were all conference 2nd team selections.
