13 Local Hockey Products Selected in USHL Draft
The first to go in phase one was Hibbing/Chisholm's Cole Swanson.
DULUTH, Minn.- 13 local products heard their name called at the USHL Draft the past two days.
The first to go in phase one was Hibbing/Chisholm’s Cole Swanson, who went in the 2nd round to the Waterloo Black Hawks.
Swanson was second in scoring for the team. He was one of three Bluejackets to be picked.
On Day 2, Cloquet-Esko-Carlton’s Karson Young went 5th overall to the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders.
The lone Lumberjack picked had nine goals last year.
Grand Rapids, Hermantown, and Rock Ridge also had some players taken in the draft.
