Duluth Huskies Hand Out Hot Dogs to Healthcare Workers

Hot Dogs

Aspirus St. Lukes employees got a taste of the upcoming baseball season for lunch.

The Duluth Huskies were handing out free hotdogs to healthcare workers as a thank you.

Aspirus St. Lukes is one of the Huskies biggest sponsors, and the Huskies give back through the foundation to support patients.

St. Lukes is also the Huskie’s orthopedic team.

“I think giving back to the community in which you live and what you grew up in is so very important. And in this crazy world that we’re going through with everything right now today, a little bit of kindness and a little bit of civility, I think can go a long way.” said Micheal Rosenzweig, Owner of Duluth Huskies Baseball Team, “You know, their days can be very stressful and very long, and so sometimes to take a break for a few minutes and come out and talk to somebody who isn’t in need of medical assistance, sometimes is good. And everybody likes hanging around Harley the Husky. And what better way to do that with a hot dog?”

This is a yearly tradition for the Huskies.

With just a few weeks until the start of their season, it’s a fun way to give back while gearing up excitement.
