Prep Baseball: South Ridge Tops Defending Section 7A Champions, Proctor Extends Win Streak

The Panthers defeated the defending section 7A champions 11 to 1, improving to 9-2 on the season. 

CULVER, Minn.- The South Ridge baseball team welcomed in Cherry on Thursday in a rematch of the 2024 section 7A title game.

The Panthers defeated the defending champions 11 to 1, improving to 9-2 on the season.

South Ridge is back in action on Friday, May 9th, against North Woods.

First pitch is at 1 p.m.

For the Tigers, their next game is on Friday, May 9th, against Littlefork-Big Falls.

Game time is at 4 p.m.

Over in section 7AA, the Proctor Rails looked to extend their win streak as they welcomed in Aitkin.

The Rails earned the shutout win against the Gobblers 6 to 0, to improve to 7-3.

Proctor’s next game is on Friday, May 9th, against Warroad.

First pitch is at 2 p.m.
