UW-Superior Softball Falls Short of Three-Peat as UMAC Tournament Champions

UW-Superior finishes the year with a 31-12 overall record.

MANKATO, Minn.- The UW-Superior softball team entered the day with a chance to secure a spot in the UMAC title game.

Unfortunately, the Yellowjackets ran into top-seeded Bethany Lutheran, falling to the Vikings 3 to 2 in the semifinals.

Later on in the day, UWS faced off with Northwestern in a elimination game.

The Yellowjackets came close as they put up three runs in the 6th. But, the rally fell short as the Eagles held on 8 to 7.
