Duluth Farmers Market Opens for the Season

Market Still

DULUTH, Minn. — One of the Northlands biggest signs of summer is here, and that’s the season opening of the Duluth Farmers Market.

For over 100 years local farmers and crafters have been selling produce, plants, jewelry and much more at the market.

Community members flocked to market for opening day, getting a taste of the produce to come throughout summer.

One of the newest vendors is a crafter from Superior who makes designs and creates items herself. She says the market allows for her to meet customers in person and get their opinions.

“I really enjoy having that connection because I think everyone really has something unique to bring to the table, so having that one on one connection and having the opportunity to even take that time is really valuable because you never know what you’re gonna come out on the other side with,” Krystina Williamson, Owner of The Punny Pot said.

The Duluth Farmers Market is open every Wednesday afternoon and Saturday morning.

The building is located at the corner of 14th Ave E. and 3rd St.
