C-E-C Defenseman Karson Young Commits to UMD Men’s Hockey

CLOQUET, Minn.- Another local hockey product will soon don a Bulldog sweater.
Cloquet-Esko-Carlton defenseman Karson Young announced his commitment to UMD on Thursday night.
Just last year he had a breakout campaign with the Lumberjacks, tallying nine goals and 29 assists.
Young also played for the Minnesota Wilderness, in which he skated in 26 games and picked up nine points.
Last week, Young was selected 5th overall on Day 2 of the USHL Draft by the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders.
