Nicole Schmitt Becomes First All-American Bulldog Since 2018 Season

Schmitt is the 8th player in program history to earn the title of All-American.

DULUTH, Minn.- UMD infielder Nicole Schmitt has added perhaps the highest accolade in collegiate sports.

Schmitt was named an NFCA All-American First team member Wednesday evening.

She’s the first Bulldog to achieve All-American status since a trio did it back in the 2018 season.

Schmitt is also the 8th player in program history to earn the title of All-American.
