Duluth Marshall Baseball Begins Section 7AA Play with Two Straight Wins

The Hilltoppers started off the day by blanking Hinckley-Finlayson 14-0 in the opening round.

DULUTH, Minn.- The Duluth Marshall baseball team began section tournament play on the right foot on Tuesday.

The Hilltoppers started off the day by blanking Hinckley-Finlayson 14-0 in the opening round.

Marshall then shifted their attention to Pequot Lakes in the quarterfinals, where once again the Hilltoppers came out on top, 12 to 4.

Duluth Marshall will next face Aitkin in the semifinals on Thursday. First pitch is at 1:30 PM.
