Nearly $100,000 lottery winner at Side Lake
SIDE LAKE, Minn. – One Minnesota Lottery players won the nearly a $100,000 jackpot playing Minnesota’s Progressive Print-N-Play game.
The winning ticket was sold at C C Campground 717, located at 7595 McCarthy Beach Road in Side Lake on May 23.
C C Campground will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Progressive Print-N-Play is an instant-win style ticket printed directly from the lottery terminal.
Jackpots start at $5,000 and grow as tickets are sold.
Players can choose to play a $1, $3 or $5 Bingo, Crossword or Slots game.
All progressive games share the same jackpot pool.
A $1 ticket pays 20 percent of the jackpot, a $3 ticket pays 60 percent of the jackpot, and a $5 ticket pays 100 percent of the jackpot.
Progressive Print-N-Play is only played in Minnesota.
Minnesota Lottery prizes above $50,000 must be claimed in person at Minnesota Lottery headquarters in Roseville.
Prizes $50,000 and below can be claimed by mail or at any regional office. In Minnesota, lottery players have one year to claim prizes. It is recommended that winners call ahead to check hours and to make an appointment.
