Cloquet Couple Still Missing, Police Confirm Sighting

CLOQUET, Minn. – Cloquet police say a missing couple was last seen in  McGregor.

The search for a missing Cloquet couple entered its second week. According to Cloquet police, Daniel Latterell, 64, and his partner Jane Korpela, 62, were last seen on May 25th and have not been in contact with family or friends since.

On Wednesday, police said they confirmed the couple had been seen in the town of McGregor on May 26th. McGregor is roughly 45 miles southeast of Cloquet.

Latterell is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall and 200 pounds with hazel eyes. Korpela is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall, 242 pounds, and also has hazel eyes. Police said the couple are “vulnerable adults and there is a concern for their mental health and safety.”

The couple drives a 2010 dark gray Ford Escape with a Minnesota license plate of JEP512, according to police.
