Duluth Trading’s parent company cuts 3% of workforce
DULUTH, Minn. & MOUNT HOREB, Wis. – Duluth Holdings Inc., the company that runs Duluth Trading Company, announced it reduced its workforce by 51 employees.
They say that is 3% of its total workforce. They made the cuts on June 4, 2025.
In a news release the company said, “The expenses related to the workforce reduction were less than $1 million. The Company’s expense savings actions are designed to reduce complexity in the business and increase the Company’s focus on brand awareness, solution-based product and product innovations, and exceptional customer service.”
The majority of the 51 employees impacted were in corporate roles, the retail teams were not impacted.
Duluth Holdings is headquartered in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin which is near Madison.
Duluth Holdings Inc.’s stock was at $1.92 per share on Thursday morning (6/12), that is down from its 52-week high of $4.50 per share.
