43rd Annual Park Point Rummage Sale Kicks Off
DULUTH, Minn. — Friday was the first day of the Park Point Rummage Sale, returning for the 43rd year.
The annual event sees four miles of sales throughout the Park Point neighborhood.
The sales allow residents to declutter and kick off the busy summer season, which includes Grandma’s Marathon and the Park Point Art Fair.
While some people shop for fun, some are hunting for the perfect bargain.
Although the weather wasn’t ideal, driveways were still packed full of shoppers and streets were lined with cars.
“People have had great experiences down here. And I think, you know, you can buy anything from a car to a boat to. some heirlooms. It’s just a good time for a lot of people to come down here,” Rory Strange, Park Point Rummage Sale Organizer said.
The sales will return Saturday rain or shine, and if you start to feel hungry during your shopping trip, there is a variety of food trucks and vendors along the four mile stretch.
