Washburn Girls Soccer Draws Second Seed in WIAA State Tournament

On Monday, it was revealed that the 16-1-1 Castle Guards earned the two seed and will face Ozaukee/ Random Lake in the State Semifinal round on Thursday.

WASHBURN, Wis.-The Washburn girls soccer team made history on Saturday night.

The Castle Guards punched their ticket to the programs first state tournament after defeating Assumption 1-0 in the Division 4 Sectional Championship game.

On Monday, it was revealed that the 16-1-1 Castle Guards earned the two seed and will face Ozaukee/ Random Lake in the State Semifinal round on Thursday.

Game time is at 7 p.m. at Southeast Sales Powersports Stadium in Milwaukee.
