Duluth Marshall Pitcher Owen Marsolek Decommits From Western Kentucky

This past season, Marsolek led the state with 139 strikeouts.

DULUTH, Minn.- It’s already been a busy week for Duluth Marshall senior pitcher Owen Marsolek.

On Sunday, he was named Mr. Baseball, earning the highest honor in prep baseball for Minnesota.

Fast forward to Tuesday and Marsolek is looking for a new college home.

He announced on his personal Twitter page that he is decommiting from Western Kentucky due to a coaching change.

This past season, Marsolek led the state with 139 strikeouts.

He originally committed to oddly enough, the Hilltoppers in May of 2024.
