Groundbreaking for New Car Wash Leaves Community “Stoked”
DULUTH, Minn. — Northlanders were “stoked” on Tuesday with the groundbreaking of a new car wash; Tanner’s Express Car Wash.
Tanner Stokes and Sandy Hoff say they’re bringing a state of the art tunnel car wash to Duluth. The new car wash will include 18 heated dryers for those pesky winters, plus it’s also big enough for full Pickups Trucks, including trucks with hitches, and is wide enough for dually trucks.
“A car wash was a big attraction to me due to just the lack of space in our city,” said Tanner Stokes, the owner. “You know, we don’t have sites like this with a big space for opportunities for development, and a car wash this size can fit on this site, so it’s going to be easy access and off the road, a big building for different amenities and just overall, a better system with less backup of traffic.”
Construction will start Monday morning and they expect to be open by January of 2026.
