Washburn Girls Soccer Sees Title Hopes End in D4 Semifinals at State Tourney

MILWAUKEE, Wis.- The Washburn girls soccer team made history on Thursday night, competing in their first-ever state tournament.
In a contest against Ozaukee/Random Lake, the two teams were tied at one after two overtime periods.
Finally in a shootout, the Warriors were able to outlast the Castle Guards, taking the shootout 7-6.
Washburn finishes the season with a 16-2-1 overall record.
