Chebii Wins Women’s Full Marathon in her First Grandma’s Appearance

Grandma's Marathon was her first race competing in the United States. 

DULUTH, Minn.- Runners from all across the world laced-up for the 49th Grandma’s Marathon on Saturday.

In the women’s full marathon race, Lilian Chebii took home the first place with a time of 2:25:14 in her first Grandma’s Marathon appearance.

Chebii has only raced in two full marathons during her running career.

Grandma’s was her first marathon she has won in United States.
