17th Annual Tee Up Fore Youth Golf Classic Held in Duluth

DULUTH, Minn. — The 17th annual Tee Up Fore Youth Golf Classic was held on Monday at Ridgeview Country Club.

The yearly event is held by the Boys and Girls Club of the Northland.

The golf classic is a significant fundraiser supporting the programs for kids across the Twin Ports and Iron Range.

Golfers played in teams and put there skills to the test, while also helping children in need across the Northland. The event also had auctions and prizes for the golfers

Despite the cloudy day, the classic had a good turnout.

“It’s really great to see such a good turnout. The weather we can get, what we get, and we’re very grateful that at least the rain is holding off. But it’s so good to see so many repeat golfers and some of our tried and true people who come out year after year, regardless of the weather,” Kayla Muchka, Chief Development Officer for Boys and Girls Club of the Northland.

The Boys and Girls Club of the Northland offers access to various programs for children, and gives kids a safe place to go after school and during the summer.
