Harbor Monsters Set for ArenaMania Rematch

The Harbor Monsters and the Iowa Woo square off Saturday night.

DULUTH, Minn.- The defending ArenaMania champions have started out the 2025 season 3-1.

Their only slip up came from the Hot Springs Wiseguys in week three.

On Saturday, the Harbor Monsters welcome in a familiar foe in the Iowa Woo.

Duluth opened up the season on the road against the Woo, where they made a late second half comeback defeating Iowa 71 to 56.

They also topped them in the title game last year, 46 to 44 to earn the rings that they will receive Saturday night.

After last season, the rivalry between the two teams continues to grow.

“They always give us their best. As you can see, they’ve built just as much as we’ve built. Got two 3-1 teams going against each other head-to-head and Duluth’s clearly got a bigger target on our back, due to like our championship last year. So, the Woo definitely got this date circled on the calendar,” said Harbor Monsters linebacker Lovell Spruce.

Despite the Harbor Monsters earning their new jewelry this weekend, their putting that on the back burner until the clock hits zero.

“I’m happy we’re getting our rings. But, I won’t really be able to savor my ring until after Saturday night once we get the win, “said Harbor Monsters quarterback Ja’ Vonte Johnson. “We work hard enough to believe that we are the better team no matter what. There is no point in the game where we don’t think that we’re the better team, no matter what the score is. You know, no matter what the score is there is always a chance for us to get going and get back on top.”

The Harbor Monsters and the Woo square off Saturday night.

Game time is at 7 p.m.
