Minnesota Safety Koi Perich Returned Home to Host Esko Elite Football
The camp hosted kids K-8th grade to help develop proper football skills.
ESKO, Minn.- The Minnesota Golden Gophers standout safety Koi Perich returned home this weekend to host the Esko Elite football youth camp.
The camp was on Saturday June 28th and 29th.
Perich was joined by his brother Mason Perich of Minnesota State Mankato and St. John’s defensive linemen Cole Engen.
The camp hosted kids K-8th grade to help develop proper football skills.
Hosting the youth camp was an opportunity for the three Esko alum to give back to their community.
“Me, my brother, and my close friend Cole. It’s just a great time just to hang out with them. I grew up with them so it’s very fun just to be able to hang out with them for a few hours. Get to teach some kids,” said Koi Perich. “If they want to come get better and have some fun, come on over. I think it’s a great time and I mean I grew up here. I love Esko. Give a little back. I love these camps, I am having a great time and hopefully we can keep it going.”
A portion of the funds form the Esko Elite camp will go to the Esko Community Ed.
