Proctor Sales and Use Tax Increases to 1.5%

The new rate at 1.5% will help fund a new trail spur.

It will connect Hermantown’s trail system down to the Munger Trail.

It is estimated to cost $6.9 million.

The sales tax applies to products purchased in Proctor, while the use tax is for taxable items used in Proctor if local sales tax wasn’t paid.
