SAN DIEGO, California.- Former UMD Defenseman Will Francis is staying with the San Diego Gulls.
On Tuesday, Francis was signed to a standard player contract for the upcoming season.
He skated in three games for the team last year, but didn’t register a point.
Francis had multiple bouts with leukemia during his time at UMD.
