Power Up the Plaza Kicks off Despite the Rain!

DULUTH, Minn. — Power up the Plaza kicked off this week.

Due to the rain, they moved it into the Tech Village Lobby.

There was free coffee, treats, time to network, and of course, with Navy Week, who better to provide the music than the ‘Liberty Call’ Brass Band.

Another portion of the Navy Band Great Lakes, this jazzy group is a Louisiana Style Brass Band with a lot of variety.

“We like to arrange some of our own music. We’ll pull stuff that’s kind of in the ether already. Obviously, like rock and roll is a lot of fun, especially if you have an opportunity to cover Led Zeppelin the Britney Spears and Sabrina carpenter. That’s just kind of like where a lot of us grew up, what’s popular now.” said Tanner Robison, Musician, Second Class.

The Power up the Plaza coffee breaks are every Wednesday from ten am to eleven am.

Bands will rotate though each week with Indecent Proposal scheduled next week.

Here is the schedule of bands and sponsors.
