Minnesota Nurses Association comes to agreement with Twin Cities hospitals; Duluth strike still imminent

DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Nurses Association (MNA) has announced it has come to tentative agreements with Twin Cities-area hospitals.

In their announcement they said, “Duluth prepares for action”.

MNA agreed to the tentative terms with Allina Health, Children’s Minnesota, M Health Fairview, HealthPartners and North Memorial Health.

The MNA is still working to get deals with Aspirus St. Luke’s and Essentia Health.

MNA President Chris Rubesch said in a news release, “The campaign may be over for now in the Metro, but the fight for safe staffing and patient care is far from over.”
