Over $15,000 Raised at 6th Annual CJ Ham Youth Football Camp for Local Scholarships

The proceeds from the camp go towards the Ham Family Scholarship fund presented by Essentia Health, which was established in 2022.

DULUTH, Minn.- This past weekend, Minnesota Vikings Fullback CJ Ham returned home for his annual youth football camp.

At the camp, 350 kid’s grades 1st-9th participated in the 6th annual football camp.

The proceeds from the camp go towards the Ham Family Scholarship fund presented by Essentia Health, which was established in 2022.

The Scholarship fund provides financial support for students of color in the Duluth area who wish would pursue a college education after high school.

“Education is something that is extremely important to my family. To myself being an education major. To my wife, who got her doctorate in physical therapy, did a lot of schooling. Education is one of those things in life that no one can take from you if you pursue it. So, to put out in front of them an opportunity to help them with the financial piece of education we’re going to do that. Cause that’s a big hurdle for all of us. Obviously, college or secondary education is not cheap,” said Ham.

Over 15,000 dollars was raised for the Ham Family Scholarship fund.
