The Isabella Section House Reimagined Project Seeks Public Input
ISABELLA, Minn. — The Isabella Section House Reimagined project is seeking public feedback on what the future of the historic building should be.
The project has people take a virtual tour and give their thoughts on what the building should be used for.
Project leaders are looking for a plan that is financially self-sustaining and benefits the Isabella area.
It was originally built in 1948 by the Duluth, Missabe, and Iron Range Railroad, and served many roles throughout the logging and railroad eras.
The building has fallen into disrepair, but it is still eligible for the National Register of Historic Places.
The public feedback portion will run through September 30th.
Once a viable idea is chosen, they will begin the business plan to guide the projects next steps.
Take the tour and give feedback at the Isabella Section House Reimagined project hub.
