“Visual Sound Bath” Art Installation at the Duluth International Airport
DULUTH, Minn. — Visitors can listen to the new “visual sound bath” at the Duluth International Airport.
It’s a new art display by multi-media visual artist Leonarda Boughton.
Boughton, a frequent traveler through the city of Duluth, designed the “Visual Sound Bath” in the walkway between the parking garage and the airport terminal.
The installation changes with the movement of the sun, creating reflections as the light changes throughout the day.
The sound is activated by motion, as one walks through the bridge.
It will make its official debut on Thursday, July 24th from 3 to 3:30.
The public can come and view the Skybridge, meeting at the terminal waiting area next to the Skybridge on the second floor.
Vouchers will be provided for parking in the regular lot for the event.
