Former Grand Rapids Goalie Carter Casey Set to Skate with Minnesota

The future Golden Gopher last suited up for the Thunderhawks in the 2024-25 season.

GRAND RAPIDS, Minn.- Former Grand Rapids goaltender Carter Casey will continue his hockey career at the college level.

The goaltender won’t have to leave the land of 10,000 lakes to do it.

Casey announced that he will play at the University of Minnesota.

The future Golden Gopher last suited up for the Thunderhawks in the 2024-25 season. Where he played in 20 games and posted a saves percentage of .912%.

He also tallied 546 saves in his final season with Grand Rapids.
