O’Brien & Hughes Invited to 2025 USA Hockey National Festival
The annual evaluation camp takes place at the Olympic Center in Lake Placid, New York and will run from August 3rd to the 9th.
DULUTH, Minn.- Later this week, two players with ties to UMD women’s hockey will look to impress USA hockey in hopes of making the 2026 U.S. Olympic Women’s Hockey Team.
On Monday, current UMD forward Mary Kate O’Brien and former Bulldog forward Gabbie Hughes were invited to the 2025 USA Hockey National Festival.
The annual evaluation camp takes place at the Olympic Center in Lake Placid, New York and will run from August 3rd to the 9th.
If all goes well and the duo are named to the 25 player roster, then they will face Team Canada for a three-game series on August 13th, 14th, and 16th.
