Authority Elite Launches First Non-Profit Cheer Program
DULUTH, Minn. – A first-of-its-kind non-profit all-star cheerleading organization opened its doors last month over on West Third St.
Authority Elite offers a variety of affordable youth cheer classes, including competitive and non-competitive teams, as well as skill classes. Their program prioritizes removing financial barriers, giving young athletes the chance to be part of a team while building confidence and developing new skills.
“We have four coaches on staff, as well as I am going through training to become a coach,” said Amanda Kylvin, president of Authority Elite. “But when asking, you know, what are they expecting for pay? They said, We love your mission. We love what you’re trying to do for our community, and we just want to help now to get it up and off the ground.”
They are heading into their first competition season starting this September, and registration is open to all skill levels, ranging from beginner to advanced.
