UMD’s Gascon, Kraemer, & Larocque to Attend Canada’s National Team Orientation Camp

If all goes well, Larocque, Gascon, and Kraemer will represent team Canada throughout the year.

DULUTH, Minn.- On Friday, current UMD hockey players Eve Gascon and Caitlin Kraemer, along with former All-American Bulldog Jocelyne Larocque have been invited to Canada’s national team orientation camp.

Gascon and Kraemer are two of three college players invited to the camp, which is on August 26th-28th in Calgary.

The UMD trio will be coached by another former Bulldog in Caroline Ouellette, who was named an assistant coach for team Canada in the 2026 Winter Olympics.

If all goes well, Larocque, Gascon, and Kraemer will represent team Canada throughout the year.
