Carl Crawford Appointed to Governers Council on MLK Jr. Holiday
DULUTH, Minn. — A former Human Rights Officer for Duluth has been appointed to the Governor’s Council on the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday.
Governer Walz appointed Carl Crawford on Aug. 1st.
Crawford currently serves as the Senior Accessibility & Engagement Coordinator for St. Louis County.
The Council on the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday helps plan celebrations that bring the community together, in an effort to reflect and build on the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
His appointment goes into effect August 6th and lasts until January 4th, 2027.
