2 Dead after House Fire in Cass County
OUTING, Minn. — Shortly before 3am on August 13th, Cass County sheriffs office received reports of a structure fire on Shady Lane NE, in Outing Minnesota.
Responders arrived to find the home engulfed in flames.
While working to extinguish the fire they found the remains of two deceased victims.
Their identities have not been released.
Autopsies will be scheduled with the Ramsay County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
The investigation is ongoing with the assistance of the Crooked Lake Fire Department, the Minnesota State Fire Marshall’s Office and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
