Huskies Top MoonDogs to Secure Spot in First World Series Since 2022

DULUTH, Minn.- The Duluth Huskies will get to compete for the Northwoods League’s top prize on Thursday night.
Duluth was able to get the best of Mankato on Wednesday, defeating the MoonDogs 4 to 1 in the Great Plains Divisional Championship.
The Huskies were led by former Hilltopper Owen Marsolek, who tossed six shutout innings with four strikeouts.
This is the 5th time in team history that the Huskies have made it to the World Series. It’s also their first appearance since the 2022 season.
Duluth now sets their sights on the Green Bay Rockers.
That contest takes place at 6:35 PM on Thursday at Wade Stadium.
