Costly Error Sinks Huskies’ Title Hopes in World Series Against Rockers

DULUTH, Minn.- The Duluth Huskies ended their season in heartbreaking fashion on Thursday night.
Playing the Green Bay Rockers in the Northwoods League Collegiate World Series, Duluth came back twice and even had a 8 to 4 lead through six innings.
However, a three-run 8th plus a costly error in the 9th inning pulled Green Bay ahead for the 10 to 8 victory.
George McIntyre, Ethan Cole, and Jake Downing all had two runs batted in for the Huskies in the contest.
Duluth is now 0-5 all-time in World Series games.
They finish the season with a overall record of 48-28.
