Wanted In NW Wisconsin: Robert Ganz-Brown
BAYFIELD COUNTY, Wis. – The Bayfield County Sheriff’s Office, along with the assistance of surrounding agencies, are searching for a runaway suspect with multiple arrest warrants in Wisconsin.
Robert Ganz-Brown got away from Bayfield authorities during an attempted traffic stop around 4 a.m. Tuesday.
Spike strips were deployed, which disabled the van Ganz-Brown was driving, but he fled the scene, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
A short time later, authorities said Ganz-Brown stole a vehicle from a nearby residence and headed into Douglas County.
That stolen vehicle was located later Tuesday morning by the Superior Police Department.
Authorities do not believe there is a threat to the public, but they said Ganz-Brown has a history of theft, stealing vehicles and fleeing from law enforcement.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or the Bayfield County Sheriff’s Office at 715-373-6300.
