AMSOIL reflects on life of former employee allegedly murdered by son
DULUTH, Min. & SUPERIOR, Wis. – People across the Twin Ports are reflecting on the life of MaeDean Davin.
She was a long time employee for AMSOIL.
Nathan Davin, 46, of Duluth is accused of shooting and killing his mother, MaeDean Davin, 74, of Duluth.
AMSOIL released a statement reflecting on MaeDean, “MaeDean was a wonderful person. She managed the Customer Service team at AMSOIL for 16 years, and during that time she hired many people who are still with the company today. She was very kind and extremely thoughtful, and because of that she had a tremendous impact on people here, personally and professionally. What happened to her is unbelievably sad. There are a lot of people in the Twin Ports who have blankets made by MaeDean, which tells you exactly who she was – thoughtful, kind and generous. She will be missed by many, and we’re all thinking about Hailey and the rest of her grandchildren.”
