$100,000 Powerball winner in Duluth; Huge jackpot on Monday

ROSEVILLE, Min & DULUTH, Min.  – A lucky winning ticket was sold over the August 23, 2025 Powerball drawing.

A ticket with the Power Play option was purchased Saturday.

They matched four numbers plus the Powerball to win $100,000.

The winning ticket was sold at Miller Hill Super One, located at 5401 Burning Tree Road in Duluth.

The winning numbers for the August 23 Powerball drawing were: 11, 14, 34, 47, 51, and the Powerball was 18. The Power Play multiplier was 2.

Power Play is an optional feature that, for an additional $1 per play, multiplies non-jackpot prizes by the drawn multiplier.

With Power Play, the second-tier prize is always $2 million, regardless of the multiplier.

The Powerball jackpot is an estimated $750 million (annuity option) for the Monday, August 25 drawing.

Tickets must be purchased by 9 p.m. on drawing days.

In Minnesota, prize claims must be submitted within one (1) year of the drawing date.

Minnesota Lottery prizes above $50,000 must be claimed in person at Minnesota Lottery headquarters in Roseville.
