New Production “Brunch and Bloodshed” Filming in Duluth

DULUTH, Minn. –More film productions are coming to Duluth, the latest is called “Brunch and Bloodshed.”

It’s a story about a group of friends, who have gathered since high school, they meet every year for brunch, but then, the unexpected happens.

Duluth native, Deven Bromme is the film’s Production Supervisor. He’s worked on films all around the country. He says the ‘Zenith City’ is a great place for making movies.

“Being a local. born and raised in Duluth, Minnesota you do take ii for granted. You take the lake for granted, it takes you to leave the area to realize how special it is,” Bromme said.

Deven says shooting in the Congdon neighborhood is perfect for the film.

It’s the right vibe and, not just in the Congdon area, he says even bigger things will be happening in Duluth, because of all the skilled technical people in the area.

Patricia Dennis, who’s in charge of hair and make-up for the production, thinks our region is great for cinema.

“Look at the location that we’re on, this house if phenomenal it serves this story beautifully. Yes, Duluth had so much to offer from history, mansions, you’ve got a lake to die for out there, nature that can’t be compared to with other with places so yeah, its got everything,” Dennis said.

Shooting for “Brunch and Bloodshed” wraps up in about a week.
