UMD Men’s & Women’s Cross Country Slated to Finish 5th in NSIC

Noah Foster and Shaelyn Hostager named NSIC athletes to watch list.

DULUTH, Minn.- On Monday, both the UMD men’s and women’s cross country teams were picked to finish 5th in the NSIC conference preseason coaches poll.

In the 2024 NSIC conference meet, the women’s team placed 4th.

For the men’s squad, they took home a 3rd place finish at the NSIC conference meet.

This year, all eyes will be on Shaelyn Hostager and Noah Foster, as the duo was named to the NSIC athletes to watch list.

The Bulldogs open up their season on Friday, September 12th at the River Town Invitational.
