The University of Wisconsin-Superior Launches a New Look

SUPERIOR, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Superior has a new logo, brand campaign, and a new softball and baseball complex.

After a year of gathering student and faculty input, UWS has officially released its new logo, which took the simple yellow line to a whole new design made to represent the area itself and the students who attend there.  Along with the logo came the new brand campaign, “Arrive with Grit, Leave with Greatness.”

The combination of the logo and brand campaign aims to capture the growth of students throughout their college experience.

“The logo has some kind of hidden elements to it,” said Sarah Libbon, director of marketing and communication at UWS. “It includes our acronym, UWS, and sort of a modern take on an anchor. We’re known as the anchor of the North.”

A new logo and brand campaign are not the only new things. UWS is moving forward with its plans to build a new baseball and softball complex near Wessman Arena.

They plan to complete the project by the 27-’28 school year, providing those student athletes with a space of their own.
