Superior Woman Accused Of Stabbing Man Multiple Times

SUPERIOR, Wis. — The Superior Police Department on Thursday night said they are investigating a stabbing that happened on Saturday, Aug. 30.

Dana Wood, 35, of Superior is accused of stabbing a 38-year-old Michigan man multiple times, according to the Superior Police Department.

The stabbing was reported around 9:15 p.m. in the 1600 block of Oakes Avenue.

The victim was taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, according to a news release.

Police Chief Paul Winterscheidt said wood was taken into custody without incident.

He said investigators found a tool on scene believed to be the weapon.

Wood is charged with Second-Degree Reckless Injury and Aggravated Battery – Intend Bodily Harm.
