DULUTH, Minn. — Duluth Cider is accepting apple donations for this year’s Big Bad Apple Bash.

For the past seven years,  Duluth Cider has been hosting The Big Bad Apple Bash, which consists of live music, kids’ games, food vendors, and apple pressing to create the 2025 brew, which will debut at next year’s event.

Each year, the brew has an original flavor as people donate a variety of different apples, curating its own special blend.

“What we do is we press it during the Big Bad Apple Bash, and then we ferment it and bottle it, and then release it one year later at the Big Bad Apple Bash. So this year, the 2024 blend will be coming out, and we’ve tasted it; it’s really good this year,” said Owner of Duluth Cider, Jake Scott.

According to Duluth Cider, if you donate at least a five-gallon bucket worth of apples, you are given a free drink voucher.

This year’s event will take place on October 11.
