Suspicious activity around DFL office in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Min. – The Grand Rapids Police Department received a call from a person worried about the actions of a man near the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party office in Grand Rapids.

On September 11, 2025 around 1pm a caller spotted a man making a “hand / gun gesture” towards the Itasca County DFL building on NE 4th Street.

The caller said the man appeared to be angry and spit.

Police responded to the scene, but did not find the person in question.
